One recent theory that has been pondered by many scientists is the theory of the beginning of life on Mars. Interestingly after discovering life in bacteria on Mars the possibility that life started there before Earth is becoming more likely. Mars Asteroid Theory
The theory is that a couple of hundred million years ago an asteroid hit the side of mars possibly even destroying most life there (except bacteria) and then ricocheted and landed on earth.. The small bacterias it collected while hitting Mars is the theory where life may have started. Maybe it all started on Mars..? Maybe as more studies on Mars the truth may finally be revealed..
